Baindridge Island Wedding: Danielle & Richard

Rich & Danielle were married at their home on Bainbridge Island, WA. Their property was the perfect backdrop to their bohemian chic styled event. Multicolored glasses were bought over months prior to the wedding by the bride and her mother at thrift shops around Seattle, which added a beautiful effect against the lush green backdrop of the tall trees and greenery around the property. Wild Flowers were brought in from a friend’s garden to complete the table settings and create the most colorful and beautiful bouquets we have ever seen!

Danielle & Rich’s ceremony was held at the lake on their property. Danielle took the long walk to the lake with her father, surrounded by tall trees and tons of green plants, making it the most beautiful photo op (see below). The couple were married in front of the gazebo and all guests sat on benches across the lake and witnessed the couple exchange vows and become husband and wife. After the ceremony the guests headed towards the opposite side of the lake where beer, wine, and large charcuterie boards were waiting for them to snack on!

Once everyone had a drink in their hand and were able to snap a selfie with the bride and groom, everyone sat at their tables which featured wildflowers in vintage colored glass vases, viles of lavender for the guests to take home and perfectly crafted menus for the evening. Guests feasted on three different types of paella at dinner and snacked on multiple types of desserts, including S’mores!

As the wedding went on, guests danced until the late hours of the night and the brides father cooked hot dogs for those late guests who stayed behind to keep the party going. Those who didn’t want to Uber home, stayed onsite in tents the bride and groom set up. Each tent was marked with guests names and had pillows, sleeping bags and blankets inside them. All in all, the wedding was a fantastic event and we were so happy be to a part of Danielle and Rich’s special day!
